Deployment of high-gain VHF antenna 🎥

We have just finished integrating and testing a very small satellite with a very large deployable high-gain yagi antenna for VHF communication. The stowed antenna is very compact and uses a titanium STEM-based mechanism to deploy controlled and accurately once the satellite is on orbit. This modular construction allows us to build yagi antennas with various number of elements to suit the requirements of VHF and UHF high-gain satellite antennas. We are looking forward to delivering this satellite to our customer, Sternula, next week and to the launch in December.
