Space Inventor is a second generation satellite engineering company founded in 2015 and since we have designed and developed our own product platform. Our modules have design heritage from our managing teams 15 years of experience in designing and building 50+ satellites. Our platforms and subsystems are designed for high reliability and performance demands and we constantly seek to push the boundaries for small satellite capabilities. Space Inventor is currently supporting different missions of both commercial and scientific nature where the objective is to support different teams with a wide range of products and services to reach different goals. This ranges from commercial IoT missions in LEO to missions beyond LEO. On this page you can read more about some of the projects we are working on with our customers from all over the world.
GLOBAL SENSOR NETWORK
ǀ CUSTOMER: HIBER ǀ PRODUCT:3u PLATFORMS ǀ MISSION: IOT
The Dutch company Hiber is working towards establishing a global network for connecting sensors on ground and relaying data from different locations on the planet and through that providing connectivity to remote users.
Space Inventor is supporting Hiber with two 3U platforms using our standard components such as EPS solution, TTC-P3/GND-2 and a full ADCS suite including reaction wheels. Space Inventor also provides non-recurring engineering for development of deployable solar panels and payload packaging, test and qualification and early operations of the spacecraft.
The two 3U satellites are frontrunners for a larger constellation and were launched earlier this year – one launched on a Falcon 9 – Transporter-1 on January 24th and the second on a Suyouz launch on March 22 2021. Both satellites have been commisioned, generating up to 45W input power and are operating nominally with contact on first pass after deployment. With these satellites our third generation platform and avionics modules together with deployable solar panels have been demonstrated in orbit.

ǀ CUSTOMER: GRAVITY SPACE ǀ PRODUCT:16u SATELLITE ǀ MISSION: BIU
For Gravity Space from the US, we are building a GEO satellite for commercial use, which includes a complete 16U satellite platform with deployable solar panels, EPS, TT&C radio and AOCS based on Space Inventor subsystems. The satellite also includes electrical propulsion for orbit maneuvering and wheel unloading. The satellite will be inserted directly into GEO and will perform different orbit transfers. Launch is scheduled for spring 2022.

VDES FOR MARITIME CONNECTIVITY
ǀ CUSTOMER: STERNULA ǀ PRODUCT:6u SATELLITE ǀ MISSION: VDES
For the Danish company Sternula, Space Inventor is building a complete 6U nanosatellite for testing and demonstrating the VDES satellite segment with the initial purpose of distributing ice-maps service in the arctic region. The project delivery also includes special development of a large deployable VHF antenna to be mounted on the satellite.

Another project is with Visiona from Brazil to provide a full power plant solution consisting of a maximum power point tracker, battery and power conditioning unit designed to match custom developed triple deployable 6U solar panels. Additionally we are providing customised deployable UHF antennas and UHF power amplifiers.
