Space Inventor’s 8U satellite platform offers advanced performance with the versatility to support high-demand missions. Similar to the 6U in its robust capabilities, the 8U takes it further by accommodating additional upgrades, such as dual star trackers for enhanced pointing accuracy or a thruster for increased maneuverability—all while retaining generous payload space.
Engineered for fine pointing, high agility, and high-speed X-band communication, the 8U platform includes 100 mNms reaction wheels, a star tracker, and dual communication and battery buses for full redundancy, ensuring mission resilience.
This platform is ideal for projects that require high-performance standards and additional flexibility in mission design. From military and tactical missions to Earth observation and complex operations, the 8U offers a powerful solution for those needing microsatellite-grade performance within a CubeSat framework, with extra room for mission-critical upgrades.
